Product Care & Materials Guide

Gail Marra Design Studio

Materials & Construction

Each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted with sustainability in mind. Wherever possible, materials are repurposed or given new life as part of the creative process. Recyclable elements may be incorporated into selected works.

Materials may include: Wood, board, reinforced cardboard, papier-mâché (traditional paper pulp and paste techniques), polyurethane, polystyrene, plaster, cement-based compounds, skimming materials, air-dry clay, and textured finishes.

All works are sealed multiple times (typically 3–5 layers) to enhance durability and longevity.

Despite this, the artworks are not designed for extreme environmental exposure. Avoid placing pieces in areas with high humidity, excessive moisture, or prolonged outdoor exposure.

Handling Guidelines

Handle all pieces with care

Do not drop or apply pressure to sculptural or protruding elements
